I took this picture while on a berry pickin' trip with our family. The United States, Mexican, Washington State, and Canadian flags each flew together outside of this small town country store. Paradoxically, because of their placement, I find the row of settler-state flags to arouse both feelings of unity and oppression and find the scene both uneasy and comforting. What a trip!
